Solar irrigation is used for water supply at low cost. The operation of a solar pump is powered by solar panels, which convert sunlight into electricity.
Solar pumps are particularly suitable for areas without access to the electrical grid, where water sources are available nearby: wells, groundwater, canals, rivers, or lakes.
Without fuel consumption, water is pumped into a reservoir or delivered directly to drip irrigation systems.

To run the pump during the day for 5 to 8 hours daily, no additional energy source is required. With an initial investment supported by available grants and irrigation loans, you can forget about future costs. Protect your profits from fluctuating energy prices.

Solar irrigation for pumps up to 5.5 kW – solutions for 2024
For standard three-phase pumps and lifts up to 180 m.
These systems provide power for standard pumps up to 5 kW, powered directly from solar panels using a solar controller with a Siemens pump control device. With a suitable pump, we can ensure water is drawn from deep artesian wells as well as from shallow wells, streams, rivers, cisterns, and tanks.Direct solar operation of the pump ensures high energy efficiency with optimally low costs. Examples of irrigation capacity for corresponding submersible pumps:

Irrigation with high-power pumps
Pumps with power up to 250 kW can be powered by electricity from solar panels combined with a generator. The generator’s operating energy is maintained at a minimum of 30%, while the rest is supplied by solar panels. When there is not enough energy from the solar panels, the generator’s output increases.


Grundfos solar submersible pumps
These long-lasting well pumps are a reliable solution for water supply, fitting into any well with a diameter of 3 inches or more. The pump offers consistent quality for long-term use over a period of 20 years. Capacity is defined according to individual requirements. Energy efficiency: they consume up to 30% less energy than standard AC pumps. We highlight a few solutions:

Selection of smaller pump units
STS 70 Solar Well Pump
The STS 70 solar well pump, operating at 24V together with a solar power generator, is suitable for professional use on uneven terrain where there is no access to the electrical grid. The pump can draw water from wells, streams, or lakes, overcoming height differences of up to 70 m.
The standard STS 70 set pumps 350 liters of water per hour from depths greater than 50 m, supplying a reservoir above ground.

S2088 Pump System for Small Orchard Irrigation
The Shurflo S2088 pump system is suitable for increasing water pressure in pipelines, automatic irrigation of orchards, or gardens. This autonomous system draws water from an existing water supply, wide well, stream, or canal. The water pressure can be raised up to a height of 28 m or 55 m. Programmed operation of the system is possible, allowing daily automatic switching on and off.
